Minority Women Development Programme. The Rural Development Association, Bamon Kampu Makha Leikai, Imphal East Manipur had organized Minority Women Development Programme at Keirao Makting Villagee and Keikhu Kabui village. The main objective of the programme of the programme is to women leadership training, domestic violence, legal awareness and income generation etc. during the programme many experts/instructors to thought many different topic/subjects. Smt. B. Supriya Devi, Sr. Advocate, Manipur BAR Association, Shri K. Bimol Singh, Rt. Manager Bank of Baroda, Md. Khalique Minority Cell Officer, Paojairung Palmei, M.O. Imphal, are participated as resource persons of the programme. The programme was conducted held on 4 and 12th June, 2023, local youth club, church leader, panchayat members, community leaders are fully extended and cooperation of the programme.
With a view of the health society among the women and child to the rural area, the Rural Development Association, Bamon Kampu Makha Leikai, Imphal East, Manipur had organized Mobile Health Care Programme at different places of Manipur. The programme was conducted under the supervision of Chief Medical Officer, Imphal East, Govt. of Manipur. The main objective of the programme is to health society among the women and child. During the programme also provide free medicine, minor operation etc. the programme was conducted with doctors, nurse and technician of the CMO, Imphal East. All together 380 peoples including women and child of rural area are benefited in the programme.
Senior citizens are the most important group in the present day society as many intelligence and advanced ideas can get from them. It is therefore, they need to give welfare programme for their smoothly lively hood. In this regard, the Association held one day welfare programme for Senior citizen on 24th May, 2023 at Sina Keithei Community hall Ukhrul District, Manipur. At about 35 senior citizens from different places of Ukhrul district were participated to the programme. Shri Binoy Kumar Singh, a Social Activist from that area and some local men were graced as the Presidium members for the programme. The Association contacted many resource persons from different Government department like Social Welfare, Medical department etc. The resource persons introduced many departmental schemes to give benefit to the senior citizens. District Social welfare Officer, Imphal East narrated the benefits to able to get from his department, and CMO, Ukhrul also narrated the benefits to be taken from Medical department so as to enable to keep their health in- take. The programme was successful. At the end of the programme, the Secretary of the Association gave vote of thanks to the participants and other resource persons of different departments.
Adolescent is a stage of turning to a life. It needs to turn in right way. Due to change in physiological and mental, it makes a change in behavior also. With this change, different things were happen in the life of a person. It is very important age and needs to care them in right way in the reasons the Rural Development Association, Bamon Kampu Makha Leikai, Imphal East, Manipur had conducted seven days non residential Youth and Adolescent Welfare Programme at Organisation training hall premises on 18th to 22nd April, 2024. E. Paka Singh, District Youth Sport Officer, Shri S. Binoykumar Singh, National Youth Awardee, L. Tondon Singh, Project Officer, DRDA, Y. Jugindro Singh, Youth Activities Shri Motial Singh, District Youth Sports Officer, are participated as resource persons in the programme.
Skill Up-gradation Training programme for Transgender:
As a routine programme of the transgender income generation and save unemployed programme the Rural Development Association, Bamon Kampu Makha Leikai, Imphal East had organized 30 days Skill development Programme Embroidery and Tailoring at Khurai Kangla Imphal East Manipur from 1st to 30 April, 2023. Many trangender’s from different places of Manipur are selected the said training programme. The main objective of the programme is to enhancement their skill upgrdation as well as income generation. Smt. L. Pramo Devi graced as the President of the programme. Some experts from different institutions were engaged to taught the participants to the subject matter. The experts taught the participants how to taken up skill development to any trade for their income generation. At the end of the development programme, the Secretary of the Organisation gave vote of thanks to the participants. The programme was ended with a grand success.
