Handicraft is one of the leading occupation in the state of Manipur. A large number of handicraft persons have been working in different trades for their income generation. So, development of Handicraft is very required. In this regard, a programme of 10 days on Handicraft Training was organized at Kongba Laishram Leikai Community Hall, Imphal East Manipur starting from 21^st to 30^th January, 2024 with a view for promotion of Handicrafts in the state and also to enable to generate their income to the Handicraft artisans. 40 artisans were participated to the program from different places of Kongba Laishram Leikai and surrounding areas. The programme was taken up associated with District Handicraft Department, Imphal East, Manipur. At the beginning of the programme, the Secretary of the Organisation welcomed all the participants and the officials of Handicraft department and also gave the key note address to the participants and described the value of handicraft and how to generate income. The experts and instructors of Handicraft Department described the need of developments of Handicraft techniques. They also taught the participants about the different designs of Handicraft product. The artisans were taught the modern techniques of Handicrafts so as to enable good production. At the end of the program a mini exhibition was held with the production in the training period. The program was concluded with success.

The Rural Development Association has running Integrated Rehabilitation for Addicts (IRCA) at Shungriphai Village, Kamjong District, Manipur Since 2020 under the financial assistance of Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Govt. of India, New Delhi. The main objective of the programme is to rehabilitation cum treatment for addicts. 15-20 inmates per month are benefited from this centre. The centre is provided treatment, OPD, Telephonic Counselling, home visit, Yoga Therapy, daily routine class, game and sports, NA Class, Re-educative class, group therapy, meditation, picnic, group discussion, awareness, vocational class, indoor and outdoor game etc.

Manipur is many road accidents happened from many causes. The main cause is due to less knowledge for road safety, how to cross a road to another road, how to drive safely etc. In this regard, a programme on road safety awareness was in collaboration with traffic police Imphal East about the awareness of road safety on 30^th December, 2023 at the Wangoi Community hall. At about, 100 persons including women and children were participated to the programme. The Traffic Police party described all the needful for road safety rules. They taught the participants about the road signals and instruction from Transport Department, Govt. of Manipur. The programme was very appreciated by the participants for giving many useful to them. The programme was also concluded with a grand success.

It is require to discuss what is Self Help Group. So, it is required to know about Self Help Group and formation of it. In this regard, 5 days programme on formation of Self Help Groups among the women was held by the Organisation on 20^th November to 14^th December, 2023 at Huirem Leikai Community Hall. 25 women groups consisting of 10 members each were formed Self Help Groups. The programme was conducted by different persons from other Association/Organisation and some members from the Organisation itself. The organizers described what is Self Help Group and how to form it. Self Help Group is a group to work altogether unitely. They were taught the nature and flow of Self Help Groups, monthly subscription, how to link with Banks etc. At the end of the programme, the newly formed Self help groups were opened a bank account in the name and style of their names. The programme was ended with success.

With a view of the income generation and skill development, The Rural Development Association, Bamon Kampu Makha Leikai, Imphal East, Manipur is has organized one day women and child welfare programme at organization conference hall on 8^th November, 2024. The main programme is to health check, distribution of exercise book, piscine, pen etc. the programme was conducted in collaboration with Bamon Kampu Gram Panchayat and local youth club. Many doctors, nurses, technicians and staff of health department, Govt. of Manipur are participated in the programme, 184 woman’s including children are benefited in the programme.

Rural Development Association, Bamon Kampu Makha Leikai has been taken up many development programme for Entrepreneurs. In this regard, the Association was held on Five Days Entrepreneurship Development programme at organisation training hall on 16 -20^th October, 2023. The programme was taken up under the guidance of District Industries Centre, Imphal East Manipur. At about 50 youths from different places are participated of the programme. The programme was presided over by Smt. Th. Bhubol Singh, Ex-Pradhan, At the beginning of the programme, the Secretary of the Association gave welcome address to the participants and other officials of DIC, Imphal East. The talkers from the side of DIC, Imphal East narrated how to take up development of entrepreneurs in their respective trades so as to enable to ful fill their objectives. Entrepreneurs are required to work hard for this. At the end of the programme, one of the Executive Committee members gave both of thanks to the participants and other officials. The programme was a grand success.

Rural Development Association, Imphal East, a registered NGO working in prevention of HIV/AIDS organized was organized many awareness programme on prevention of HIV/AIDS in collaboration Manipur State AIDS Control Society Wangkhei Yonglan held on 20^thSeptember, 2023. P. Rajendro Singh a local resident was graced as the Chairperson of the programme. At least 70 youths along with teenagers were participated to the programme. The association gave many valuable advices to the participants about how come the intention of drug uses and its harmfulness and how to avoid it and to cure if it affected to our health. The programme was held with own expenses. At the end of the programme, Shri M. Prem Singh, Chairperson of the programme, who is a social worker gave vote of thanks to the participants and the orginizers also

As the ruoutine programme of the health care and drug free zonethe Rural Development Association has running counselling Centre for Drug Users at North AOC, Imphal East, Manipur. The main objective of the centre is to career guidance counseling and rehabilitation to the normal life among the drug users. According to the record books 150 nos. drug users are benefited (including Women and children) in the programme.

Many people of rural area are not good prints prizes due to lack of education knowledge, many shopkeeper are take up right rate from rural people. In this view to need of awareness for being a consumer is that the consumer have many rights being as a consumer. Now a days, the traders are encouraging to the duplicates in the same of the article, its date of manufacture, expiry date, increase in prices etc. If one is a consumer, he/she have the right to claim against such duplicates. In this regard, one day Consumer awareness programme was held at the Thambalkhong Chandam Leikai Community hall Imphal East Manipur on 28^th August, 2023. The programme was helped by a team of Consumers Forum, Manipur. At about 50 male and women were also participated to the programme. The forum taught the participants about the legal awareness for being a consumer and to avail the rights of a consumer. If a consumer have any doubts to the duplicate of the article, date of manufacture, expiry date, price variation, he/she may claim to the Consumers Club, Manipur. Hence, a case may be registered with the matter and if the claim was correct, the complainer will get prizes for deceiving a consumer.

As the routine programme of Free Medical Camp for Drug users. The Association held one day free medical camp for drug users on 8^th August, 2023 at the conference hall of the Association with the help of District Medical Department, Imphal East, Manipur. Smt. Inaobi Devi, ZP, Bamon Kampu, Zilla Parishad graced as the President of the programme. At about 34 drug users from different places of Imphal East were participated to the programme. At the beginning old the programme, Shri E. Nanda Singh, Secretary CTSWU, President welcomed all the participants and other officials of Medical department. The Doctors and Health Organisers from the Medical department described the harmful to the human body from using of drugs. At the initial stage of using drugs, none could realize the harmful. After becoming addict person, they can realize the harmful and seek help for existence. Hence, drug users are required to take Medical advices for becoming a long existence. So, all the drug users required to participate to such awareness programme and free Medical camps for their better existence. At the end of the programme, medicines were distributed to the drug users on free basis. The programme was also became a grand success.
